Boasting in Weakness

In the course of my studies I was lead to ponder the verses Paul penned in second Corinthians in reference to boasting in weakness. I asked that the Lord would show me whatever He might have for me and I wish to share it now with you.
Let us not boast in the things God has shown onto us, if we can only speak of them in words apart from them being displayed in our lives, that others may see and witness them in us. As with Paul we too will find manifested in us a thorn in the flesh and through it the Lord will quiet our boasting as He shows us that words are only words, and in Him alone will we find strength as we seek our everything in Him.
Our weaknesses are used by God to remind us to not forget that it is only in Him that we know anything as to the truth, and so too apart from Christ we can do nothing, yet in Him we can do all things. Let us not boast in what we have perceived, rather let us boast in our weaknesses that we might find strength not in our wisdom, but in the knowledge which can only be found through our communion with Christ. So that what He shows us will not remain only in words which are spoken, but reflected in our very lives in Him.
Lord I thank you for providing me an answer to prayer and guidance into an area where you could reveal to me why for my weaknesses in the flesh, so that in turn you could remind me of my need of you in all things. You have shown many of your truths onto me, and I have on several occasions boasted about them, yet not allowing these same truths to transform me in obedience to you. May I not boast in anything but in my weaknesses and too in my sufficiency found only in you. What you have shown me is true, yet apart from the reality of that truth displayed in my life it is of little profit to me, nor efficacious to others.
May we only boast in what You have accomplished in us through our weaknesses that others too may find their strength for all things in You... Amen
